Design and reflections
All m3béton products are thought out and designed to maximize the user experience while integrating into the environment. The development process can take up to two years. Habits of use, details of comfort, maximization of potential and reduction of materials, nothing is left to chance. La Tablée, an award-winning picnic table, has for example been designed in our Nordic and Quebec context, with wooden armrests optimizing comfort, and flared legs suitable for wheelchairs and strollers.
We recently spoke with a collaborator who was surprised by our status as 'designer-producer', given the rarity of this double role. But what is this status concretely? According to Professor André Desrosiers, “These are creators who produce or have produced the goods they have designed”. m3béton has made this choice of semi-autonomy (insofar as we still have suppliers and collaborators for the raw materials) in order to stand out for our expertise and our passion for the material that has driven the whole team since the beginning. . Designer-producer is a source of pride for us, because we can truly apply all our ideas in terms of design, refine them over time, and we can only blame ourselves in the event of a design error! It is rare today to have the technical capabilities to carry out all the research and design work within the same workshop, so we are proud of our team and our expertise to be able to carry out this work in our workshop. Montrealers. We are proud to perpetuate Canadian know-how at our level.
This peculiarity of status also leads us to work and re-work every centimeter of our products, to know all the facets, to think about all the details and to include as many people as possible in these products.
We therefore always take customer and user feedback into consideration, to guarantee well-thought-out products, for us and for you.

“I'm Raymond, a ping-pong fan and regular user of your table at Molson Park. For me, ping-pong goes beyond sports practice, it is a real group of friends and camaraderie. We find ourselves, with a dozen other enthusiasts, daily on the table to play. Our group would love a second table in the park, so we can fit everyone in. We have also improved the space, by providing a broom to clear when there are leaves, or a fence to prevent the balls from going on the road.“
